Bruce Lipton, Ph.D, author of the book The Biology of Belief, points out that there are two ways to reprogram the unconscious mind. Hypnosis and repetition. Which are the guided meditations and positive thoughts and affirmations that we consciously choose to think and speak over and over again until they become your new believes. Believes are the foundation of the programs that run your life most of the time.

Dr. Daniel Goleman author of the book Emotional Intelligence talks about trauma an emotional education. Since the limbic system becomes hyperactive, secreting large doses of brain chemicals that mobilize the body for an emergency, in response to situations that hold little or no threat but somehow are reminders of the original trauma.
